The terms of the memo

What you buy
One memo on the code of one repository, in HTML and PDF, at the price printed for its band: $1,900 for up to 200,000 lines, $3,900 for up to 1,000,000. The memo holds counted sections with the file behind each figure, six sections graded by the reviewer with an evidence pointer beside each grade, remediation bands, the instrument outputs as appendices, a list of what was not read, and a receipt named by its SHA-256. The free readout on the first page is information about a public repository, given as GitHub reports it, and is not part of any order.
What the memo is not
It is not financial, legal, tax or investment advice, not a valuation, and not a certification that the code is secure, compliant or fit for any purpose. It reports what the named checks found in the repository as it stood when the desk read it. A check not run is listed as not run. Decisions about the acquisition stay yours.
Price, payment and the clock
Prices are in US dollars and are paid in full at Stripe before work starts. The memo is due five business days, Monday to Friday, after the desk has access: the day it accepts your collaborator invitation, or the day your zip arrives and passes its first-bytes check. Public holidays are not skipped. If the line count you gave puts the repository in the wrong band, the desk writes to you before reading further.
Your part
You confirm that you are allowed to share the repository with the desk, under whatever confidentiality agreement you hold with the seller, and that the access you give is for this order only. You give access within a reasonable time; the clock does not run before you do.
Confidentiality
The desk treats the code, and everything it learns from it, as confidential. It uses the code only to write your memo, shares neither the code nor the memo with anyone but you, and deletes its copies [[RETENTION DAYS NEEDED]] days after delivery, as the privacy page sets out.
Refunds
The full price is refunded if the desk cannot read the repository within 48 hours of payment, or if the band was wrong on our side. Refunds are issued by a person, through Stripe, to the card that paid. Write to [[CONTACT EMAIL NEEDED]].
Liability
The desk's total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited. These terms are governed by the law of [[GOVERNING LAW NEEDED]].
